I illustrate and write a cheery weekly column for The Community Newspaper Project, a non-profit based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, for their two publications: The Chestertown Spy and The Talbot Spy. I've been working with the Spies, designing logos, ads and illustrating feature articles from the very beginning, in 2009.

Before that, I toiled at a Scripps Media newspaper and free-lanced for dozens of publications and clients. I have included far too many examples of my work for you to see. I work mostly in watercolor and pen and ink, although I have exhibited my oil paintings in solo and group museum shows.

And here is an example of shameless commerce - you can buy my adult coloring book on Amazon! In My Garden. Or travel to New Bern, NC where you can buy copies of my other coloring books at Mitchell Hardware, located at 215 Craven Street, or at the Tryon Palace Gift Shop at 529 South Front Street.

I am always ready for a new project!
